There are unlimited things to do here in Tokyo, Japan. The total area covered by Tokyo is 2194 km², enormous, isn't it? When you visit Tokyo, you will say once is not enough. Tokyo is the most populated city in the world with 37.4million people. You can find traditional homes to modern tall skyscrapers in Tokyo.
You will be amazed by the clean surrounding and polite people all around you. If you are planning to visit Tokyo a week is not enough. Akihabara(秋葉原)
Starting with Akihabara, My favorite place and I know it will be yours too. Here you can find a lot of electronic gadgets shops. You can even find used electronics items too and a lot of them will be at really good condition without a single scratch. You can even call this place Otaku Mekka for manga and anime lovers.
You can find cosplay stores, manga stores, and even vintage electronics items too. And don't forget to visit Maid cafes, Neko Cafe(cafe filled with cute cats), Owl cafe, and many more. You can find beautiful girls dressed in maid costumes.
Anime Japan
Anime Japan is the biggest manga convention in the whole world and hosted every year at Tokyo Big Sight, Odaiba. You can participate in this event by purchasing tickets online through a third party or from a ticket vending machine at a convenience store in Tokyo. During this event, It's super crowded and it's better if you go early to avoid crazy long queues.
TeamLab(チームラボ)
Team lab is the place to explore amazing art, science, technology, and nature with stunning animations using various effects and projections.
It started its operation as TeamLab Borderless but now it has started another branch named as TeamLab Planets where you walk in water pool deep to your knees and tour a vast exhibition of spaces containing 7 indoor artwork and 1 indoor exhibition at the entrance.
Day Trip To Mt.Fuji(富士山)
You have a great view of Mt. Fuji from Tokyo. You can plan to climb it if you are traveling between early July to early October (Climbing season) when snow is all melted. You can have bus service till 5th station of Mt. Fuji and rest you have to walk. You can plan for the 1-day trip as I did or 2 days where you start climbing in the late evening and enjoy the sunrise from the top.
Ninja Restaurant(忍者レストラン)
This is a place where waiters are dressed up as ninjas and the place is decorated with ninja weapons and paintings. You would love to visit here to have a real-life ninja experience.
Pokemon Center(ポケモンセンター)
Don't miss the pokemon center when you are in Tokyo. It's a pokemon game store, where you can buy pokemon cards and other pokemon goodies.
Tokyo Dome Natural Onsen Spa LaQua 8(東京ドーム天然温泉スパラクーア8)
Onsen is a natural hot public bath. There are hot springs of various colors, odors, and effects depending on the ingredients contained. I recommend not to stay in hot water for a long period of time.

An observation deck, “SHIBUYA SKY”, is located on the roof of the skyscraper. The complex includes shops, offices, an observation deck, and a parking area. Shibuya is best for entertainment, shopping and fashion, and cuisine.
Trick Art Museum(トリック美術館)
If you like optical illusions, magic tricks, and other strange and marvelous stuff, this museum should be on your Tokyo bucket list.
Takao Trick is known for its paintings that you can "step into" or that seem to slip out of the picture.
Ashikaga Flower Park(あしかがフラワーパーク)
You can find flowers and/or wonderful light installations at Ashikaga Flower Park no matter what season you visit. During the wisteria season, the park is packed.
If you will come both during the day and at night, you will be able to see the beautiful colors in all their glory. Staying until after sunset is well worth it.
Gundam Cafe(ガンダムカフェ)
There are two Gundam Cafes in Tokyo, one in Akihabara and the other in Odaiba. It is a must-see for all Gundam fans and acts as a kind of "headquarter" for the series.
The cafe is modern in nature, but the food is very ordinary. If you want to take a fun shot, try a pancake with a Gundam comic panel on it.

Since then, purikura is supported by a lot of girls all over the nation because of the improvement of machines and helping to make good memories.
It's essentially a fancy picture booth where you can change the filters. Make your eyes bigger, your cheeks redder, and your skin whiter, then sculpt your face and add pretty little frames and pictures.
Many larger arcades, such as Akihabara and Ikebukuro, have such machines.

Try traditional Japanese dish kakigori(かき氷)
When the weather in Japan gets hot, kakigori comes to the rescue. This traditional frozen summer treat consists of shaved ice cream flavored with syrup.
This will color the normally transparent ice, and it will look super sweet with sprinkles and extras on top. At Bum Bun Blau Café, pair your tasty treat with ramen.
They use a unique strategy to keep the ice from melting so fast, and they sandwich housemade condensed milk ice cream between the shaved ice and toppings for added flavor.
Try Udon(うどん)
Udon is a tasty wheat flour-based thick noodle. It's delicious with or without broth, and the taste is fantastic, in my opinion.
Udon Shin in Shinjuku is one of Tokyo's finest udon shop.
Try Mocha (餅)
Mochi is a popular Japanese dessert. It's essentially a sweet glutinous rice cake made from short-grain japonica rice. It's rolled into a ball, colored, and/or packed with fruits or jelly.
Seigetsudo Honten in Ginza or Tokyo Station Ichibangai is a popular and traditional Tokyo confectionery store. Try the Goma Mochi, which is filled with azuki beans and made with black sesame.
Try Sake(酒)
If you are a whiskey lover you should try Shake a Japanese Whiskey. You can find sake anywhere in Izagayas(Japanese pubs), convenience stores, or any store in Tokyo.
White Strawberries(白いイチゴ)
You're already aware that Japan is pricey, and this includes food. Fruit isn't one of them, despite the fact that there are plenty of cheap skewers and other street food options.
Try the giant Fuji apples if you want to be extra-fancy. White strawberries will cost up to $60 for a 6-piece kit. They're available in Shibuya's specialty fruit shop and several metro station malls.
Kit Kat hunt(キットカット)

Tsukiji(築地)
Tsukiji Market is a wonderful place to visit if you don't mind starting your sightseeing day at 3:30 a.m. and enjoy seafood.
People are employed because it is the world's biggest fish market, and visitors are not permitted elsewhere. There are two regular auctions, and booking a guided tour* is the easiest way to avoid missing out (queues can be massive).
Izakayas(居酒屋)
Izakayas are traditional Japanese pubs. They're normally small and crowded, but they're a nice place to mingle with the locals, get your sake, and eat bar food.
Most popular places around Tokyo for izakayas are Shibuiya, Shinjuku and Ikebukuro.
Sumo Wrestling
In Tokyo, there are three ways to see a sumo wrestling match. At Ryogoku Kokugikan, you will first watch an official sumo wrestling touring tournament. You should even go to a sumo demonstration*.
Both include the purchase of tickets. Coming early and peering into a nearby sumo training room is the third choice. It's free, but it's not a real match, and you can't take photos with it.
Ghibli Museum
Ghibli Museum is a museum dedicated to Ghibli films.
Fans of everything The Ghibli Studio is one of the best places to visit in Tokyo for Hayao Miyazaki.
It contains the detail about the production process as well as original sketches, and the studio itself seems to be very good from the outside. Tickets are available at 7Eleven computers.
Unfortunately, these are only available in Japanese, and tickets sell out quickly.

Put on your hiking boots and take a kilometer stroll along the peaceful valley trail. Combining it with a trip to Todoroki Fudo Temple is a great idea. You will enjoy the pink bloom during Tokyo's sakura season.
